“Arthur’s course taught me what foundations are looking for in a successful proposal. I learned how to be clear, concise, and organized in my presentation. I gained experience with project planning tools that I still use today. Maybe the most valuable part was learning how to align the needs, project plan, and outcomes to build a compelling case for success.” |
“Arthur encouraged me to write my first proposal for his workshop. He provided a template, and we critiqued my work in class. I learned so much from Arthur and from my peers! The feedback session was safe and supportive. My outcome was a lot of skill building in a short amount of time. I would recommend this hands-on experience to anyone who wants to learn grant writing.” |
"I hope you’re well and enjoying the new year. I have been meaning to get in touch to tell you the good news – the grant that I was working on while in class (the one I read the LOI for) was funded in full at $100,000! Your class really helped me to understand what funders are looking for and how to properly put together a proposal. We were also recently awarded $7,000 from another organization to put towards a new van for our youth program. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and skills."
